Jillian Micheal's.....Can she make me fit??

Like most females on this planet it's come to the time where I have a Major event to go to and I've finally found the perfect dress for the event but even though the dress fits it would still look better if i lost some weight and toned slightly......so BAM I'm going to try and start getting myself back into a fitness routine.

I know what your thinking "she can't even keep a blog running how on earth is she going to keep this up" and I'm totally with you on this but hey a girls gotta try! After being very nosie and reading a post that someone had put on one of my friends wall I found out about Jillian Micheal's - 30 day shred DVD and suddenly popped over to youtube to see what the result for this bad boy was like, I must say out of the actual brave but fat people who filmed them self's and put it on youtube I can confirm that's there was only a slight weight loss from the look of things but by god they were toned!!

I'm also looking at doing the Jillian's "No more trouble zones" to see if that might also help with any of the weight loss and to give more help towards my thunder thighs and very slight bingo wings but I haven't seen much on youtube about the results of your body from this DVD.

One thing I must add that through this I will be eating a balanced diet choosing meals from "Slimming world" magazines and trying to cut out on all my over eating just in case people was thinking I was hoping I could lose weight on just working out alone.

Anyhow this was just a quick update hopefully I will be energised enough to keep you all updated with my progress!

Project Kon

So I've mentioned a few post back that I'm working on some arty stuff well today I can officially say that it's finish!

Here is my masterpiece!.....

Yes It's a cross stitch piece of the much loved Kon from Bleach, which would have took me just a week to make if there wasn't such a downpour of new games on the week I started to create this thing but at least it's finished now and I've got load more creations lined up to make as soon as my bulk order of floss comes through from e-bay.

In case any of you are wondering if I created this pattern well sadly no but yes I have taken two creations and made them one, Kon pattern was created by Littlemojo and posted on Divantart and the Bleach logo was taken from animecrossstich.com originally the pattern was more advanced with the usual flames but I couldn't fit them in so I kept it simple.

Here's a little half made picture:

Anyways I hope you like it just need to wash it and frame it ready to hang up on my wall.

Resident Evil 2 & 3 hits PSN store!!

So yesterday all us European Resident Evil fans got our wish granted by Capom and Playstation Europe with the release of two classic resident evil titles.

Yep resident evil 2 & 3 where released!

For those of you who are not familiar with the "Resident Evil" Franchise then shame on you! But I'm willing to give you a quick schooling on theses two amazing games.

Resident Evil 2 - Originally released in 1998 sees much loved charters Claire Redfield and Leon S Kennedy brought into this world of survival horror, Claire is looking for her brother Chris Redfield and Leon is a police rookie just about to start a job with the RCPD who both find each other within the mess of Raccoon City.

My thoughts - Resident Evil 2 is my main love it was the first game in the series that I had played and I have played many times over due to the game has so much replay value with having two main characters which meant two different stories having brief in counters as you played not forgetting that both characters plots had two sides to their story made replaying this game 10x more fun, not to mention the fun of the little puzzles within the game.

Resident Evil 3 - Originally released in 2000 for us PAL users, Resident evil 3 also known as Resident Evil 3: Nemesis sees the return of special tactics and rescue squad (S.T.A.R.S) member Jill Valentine also trying to escape the nightmare of Raccoon City but ends up being chased by the bio weapon called Nemesis who is set to kill S.T.A.R.S members as Umbrella fear they know way to much, Along the way you will meet with other S.T.A.R.S members trying to avoid the same horrible fate of nemesis and you will be able to take control as Umbrella Biohazard countermeasure service (U.B.C.A) member Carlos Olivier who will help you on your mission of escaping Raccoon City. The game also introduces the making of  "The Mercenaries" where you choose from three of the U.B.C.A members that apear in the game each character has a different weapon/item inventory you then have a limited amount of time to get from two points in the game within that time but the time given at the starting point of the game is not enough time to get to your end target so you will have to make your way through the city stopping off at diffent point to eathier save a hostage and gain time and items or multi-kill enimies around the city.

My thoughts - Once again another classic from the Resident Evil franchise set slightly before Resident Evil 2 this game brings it's own unique style of game play to the table with the option of seeing the gamer choosing the path of the character within certain moments of the game like whether you choose to hide in the basement or blow up the joint then effects certain points of the game which certainly makes this game stand out from the rest of the franchise not to mention its encore of the classic Capcom puzzles within the game, the mercenaries mini game is also a lovely addition to the game I can remember many days and night me and my older brother trying to run round the city trying to survive and get to each main point to save all the hostages.

With enough said I don't even think I should give you a reason to why you should instantly go to the PSN Store and buy at least one or both of these classic game titles and with that said enjoy my home made Resident Evil 2 video.

My Kinect Adventure!

It's been awhile now but quite a few weeks back I brought an xbox kinect.

[Yes! This is a kinect!]

Why did I buy one? To be honest an xbox live buddy and her YouTube video's made me decide that I wasn't going to be one of these lame asses who bad mouth something when I haven't even gave it ago, so the next day i popped down to my local GAME store and brought one along with dance central and zumba fitness the only two games I wanted on the kinect, after pulling a late shift from work I hurrayed back to test this baby out.

[Test One] - Living within a shared house didn't give me much option on where and when I was going to play the kinect so the first set of my testing happened in the bedroom with the space of 8ft length ways and 4ft width ways so there wasn't much room for moving about. First off I decided to give the face recognition a go to make it so much easier for signing in but that didn't go as well as i had hoped for my avatar just couldn't reach the marked squares due to my lack of space so I decided to try out dance central as i thought it wouldn't need much and I was right I was able to play most of the game until it got to the harder song where the moves were more advanced and needed more space but I was still happy with the fact that I could happily play the kinect within my room if need be.

[Test Two] - It was a Saturday morning so everyone was in bed or chilling in the kitchen so i decided to try out the more active games downstairs in the living room were there was more then enough space to do anything so I started with the face reconigtion and that went off without out a hitch my next action way to get a morning workout so I pulled in my partners mum and smacked zumba fitness in the disc drive and went happily away with a 20 minute workout the only problem I had was with the game as it would detect anything and the next thing you know your a guest and not your signed in profile after a few more workouts and a much more sweaty Korrawi I decided to move on to kinect adventures this time I was pulling in my partner for this one once again had no problems apart from we were tiring out easily and that the game took for ever to set up but was fun once it got going.

In my overall opinion about the kinect it's a good invention even though i haven't tried it out to the best of it's functions as I believe there isn't a game out there at the moment that pushes it to the max and even though many people still say it needs a huge amount of space to play I believe they are wrong the kinect can still be played with a reasonable amount of space as long as the game isn't so active but on the other hand game play is so much better when you have more space to play and move, what I would like to see someone do on the kinect is make a good survival horror game as i would love to see how that plays out but all I can do now is wait and see what Will come next.

Cupcake Loving!

My love for cupcakes has been there since I was born but has faded over the years but it always comes back when a sweet moist one lands on my lips, my love returned back to me on 21st of this month when returning back to my aunts she presented me with two little sweet cups of joy and I just could not resist there charm and cupcake number one was dead within seconds lucky for cupcake number two that lasted till the next day about 15:30pm where he died on my lunch break, I mound for them deeply and with there death came the inspiration for life.

I set myself a task of birthing more of these delicious cuties I love so much, so I headed right to the queen of cooking (my aunt) and asked her for the secret of these little cups of love after a much long conversation I found the genetic code I need and started to plan.

The birthing of cupcakes didn't take place until this evening after a trip to the supermarket for supplies, I had made my mind up I was going to give birth to twenty-four cupcakes twelve would be vanilla with lemon butter cream and the other twelve would have white chocolate drops in, I started mixing the formula and heating the incubator and within twenty minutes I had my first batch but they were naked! I couldn't think about that right now I had to set my sights on the other twelve so I started making the formula again adding the chips then moving them to the incubator while they were baking I set my sights on the clothing for the first twelve mixing the ingredients I soon had the most yummy butter cream ever I picked up the little guys and started dressing them.

Soon enough the other twelve were ready and by this time I had become tired so I decided they should be left as nature birthed them which I soon found out was a fantastic idea when I unleashed my cups of joy out to the living room so they could spread there love and joy to others, in overall thought I'm glad to have birth these little guys they did me proud and I'm thinking of birthing them more often along with many other things.

I will leave you with some picture of my cupcakes.
